Adding tabbed program to the existing screen
In order to create tabs in the existing program follow these steps:
- Select the program from the left panel, in which you desire to create a tabbed program.
- Right click and select New Program as shown below:
- A new window will pop-up with your initial program name as Parent Menu.
- Give the Menu Name for your new tabbed program, here we will create c/custmorder.p.
- Follow the steps in section 2, and create a program in similar manner
You can also import the table fields at the time of Creating new program by choosing table and fields and then ‘Done’, instead of ‘Skip Import’.
Figure: Import fields for new program Now the newly created tabbed program appears under the Customer menu. Go to Language tab and rename the program name to ‘Customer Order’.
Figure: New tabbed program in menu tree Now open My_Menu > Customer. You will find the ‘Customer Order(c/custmorder.p)’ program on a tab attached with Customer.
