Types of Programs
There are a few types of Programs that can be used based on its functions. Following is a short description on each of them. Program types can be accessed from the Right Panel>Program tab>General ProgramProperties. This is how it looks in a dropdown:
A brief explanation of the types of programs in the above figure is as follows:
| Program type | Description |

| Normal Viewer(VI) | The maintenance type program that have create, update and delete functionality. |
| Alternate Filter | The customized filter program |
| Internal Procedure(IN) | The program that is open in dialog mode and freeze the whole dashboard until the dialog program is not responded. |
| Template | The template holds the layout information for the programs. |
| Menu (M) | The program type that can contain other menus and programs. |
| Report for in Batch(RE) | The program that can print reports that may be text, excel or pdf reports. |
| Viewer in separate frame(VF) | The program that opens over opened program but in separate window. |
