Configuring HTML5
Javra recommends on deploying the HTML5 application over an AppServer using the Apache Tomcat server via the AppInterface Servlet developed by Javra. However, the Tomcat server supplied with Progress 11.3 installation dates back to an older version which is not capable of hosting the AppInterface servlet and hence it must be deployed on the latest version of the Tomcat server available. Therefore, in order to deploy all the components on a single Tomcat server instance, we need to move the OE Web Server to the new Tomcat server. The necessary configuration details are described in the sections below.
