Dump Data (SVN)

For certain programs for which the Send to flag is set to SVN, the changes are made within the tables of the HTML5 Client database.

Through the program under this submenu users can dump the data for which the changes have been made within the tables.

The table below gives a brief description of the fields in this program.

Field Description
Database This field displays the database name.
User This field displays the user names, which have made changes in the data.
File directory The location where the .xml data file is dumped is entered in this field. In this case: d:\proj\xe70\db\xfiles\incr\ is the output destination.
Reserved flag There are three options: Ignore, False and True. Users select the option based on whether to take the back up of all the files for which the fields are set to reserve or not.In case, to take the backup of the data files irrespective of the reserved or private conditions then the option Ignore is selected.
Reset Send flag Selecting this option will reset the Send to flag, which will then not display SVN in the field and users can enter a new location in the Send to flag field.
Selected Files In this field, users can enter the table names for which the data dump needs to be taken.

Once all the details are entered in the fields displayed in the above figure, users can then click on the [] icon present on the screen. After the icon is clicked a ‘.xml’ dump file is created in the specified location.
