Scheduling Batches

There are four batches that could be scheduled for Xfiles 1.0 as per different program needs.

• FIFO – When programs need to be run as soon as they are created. The FIFO batch stays active; so it just needs to be run once when the computer starts and then it will continue executing automatically every 60 seconds.
• DAILY –Should be scheduled by system scheduler to run once daily (e.g. at 7am).
• SENDMAIL – Sends email. Should be scheduled by system scheduler to run frequently (e.g. every 5 minutes) to send emails scheduled.
• HOURLY –Fixed time interval batch. This batch should be scheduled by the system scheduler to run every hour.
