Customising the fields within the Default lookup

It is possible to do various customizations for fields in the default lookup, like adding, removing and changing the order of fields in the lookup. Following steps shows how to accomplish this:

  • Open the Javra IDE Repository program from the menu: X/E-Files > X/E Repository > X/E Repository
  • Select a desired file for customising. Here we have selected file Customer.
  • Go to the tab Fields in lookup.
  • Create records for desired fields you want to see in the lookup with the visible option checked. Here we are adding CustNum, Name, Address and SalesRep as shown in figure below:

  • Now open the default lookup for the Cust Num field and you will see a different lookup this time as compared to one seen before customizing.
