Filters
In Javra IDE, filters are used to display only subset of records based on some conditions related to field values.
Filter can be accessed by clicking on the []icon present on toolbar panel on the program.
- All fields in index are displayed in filter by default.
- Fields can be added/deleted in the filter.
- Index fields need to be explicitly removed form filter.
- Non-index fields need to be added explicitly.
The filter fields available for the program Customer(c/custmord.p) has been displayed below:

You can filter out the records as per your need by providing the desired values on the fields. Any sort of filteration of record is available: single-valued, range-selection or combinational.
Provide the search criteria to filter out the record and click on ‘Search Now’ button as shown in image below. Records will be filtered out based on given search criteria.

Filter fields per table can be viewed and modified from ‘Fields in Filter‘ program under X/E Files -> X/E Repository -> X/E Repository menu.

Filter fields per program can be viewed and modified from ‘Fiter fields‘ tab on the right side of the XE Developer Studio for the selected program.

After adding records in ‘Filter fields’ for the program, custom fields will appear in the filter option as shown below:
