Keyboard Shortcuts
Javra IDE provides a convenient method to access the program using customizable keyboard shortcuts. In order to reduce the steps required to go to a selected program used for daily computing, it is possible to set specific keys to open a particular program. Here is how it is done.
- Create a new record in shortkey table under X/E Files >X/E Master file > Shortkeys

Following is a short description of all the labels present in the above figure. By understanding the purpose of each label, you must be able to customize it as per your requirement.
| Labels | Description |
|---|---|
| Shortkey | Define the function for which the shortkey is being used |
| Description | Description over the shortkey |
| Program | Name of the program being accessed |
| Authorize Security | Used to allow access permissions |
| Value | Name of the key assigned from the keyboard |
| Reserved | Reserved for X/E Files Framework |
| Private | Can be customised by the User |
| Changed by | Audit information that describes the last person that changed the information |
| Send To | Audit information that describes the last resource that the information was sent to |
| Status | Audit information that describes the status of the Key |
There are a few limitations however, to the use of keyboard shortcuts. A button cannot be used more than once throughout the IDE and a few keys may not function as expected in the web version, but they are available to the GUI version.
There are a few keys used universally through the Javra IDE, however they are available only for GUI version currently.
